39% of the Senate and (rounding up) 39% of the House is a minority of congress no matter how you slice it. Can they really compel the SCOTUS to review a case with a minority?
ETA: This lends itself to the idea that the Republican party doesnāt actually care about Abortion, except to use it as a wedge issue to win elections. Thatās why they waited until now, instead of when they held the SCOTUS, House and Senate majorities under Obama.
