šŸ–• šŸŠ 🤔 A Continuing Round-Up of Trumpian Events šŸ–• šŸŠ 🤔

That’s a fair point.

With apologies:

The quality of hatred is not strained.
It groweth as a mute malignancy from ignorance
Upon those unwary. It is twice cursed:
It curseth him that paints and him so tarred.

Obviously Stephen Miller was not informed.

I think Stephen Miller was probably informed that they were lying to Spanish-speaking people to try to get their support. What Miller was not informed of was the plan to lie to people born in Jewish families to try to get their support.

That’s his name (I assume he changed it to that)? Delusions of Roman imperial grandeur much?

I was gonna say, that’s one hell of a pretentious moniker.

Yeah.

Wow that’s fucking terrible.

Also, 300 is a hella-racist and ablelist film… It’s all about racial purity and expelling the one guy who has a birth defect… Ick. I assume that the material it’s based on (Frank Miller’s comic) is similar, but I’ve never read it… [ETA] OH! It’s also very homophobic… which is hilarious, considering the amount of homosexual activity in Ancient Greece.

Yeah, pretty much.

On that… I’ve heard he’s walked some of this back in recent years (and maybe blamed it on drink), but it’s out there now and being used by assholes like this guy in question.

So he’s pretty much a normal Roman? Sorry, I couldn’t resist. XD

Ugggggh, trump is setting himself up for a win in 2020:

He’ll claim The Wall complete, the overturn of Roe v Wade and a gun in every pot.

Slam dunk for red blooded 'muricans across the country. It’s everything they’ve wanted.

Here’s hoping it bites them in the ass and SCOTUS responds with a rebuke that Roe is settled law.

I mean, here’s hoping, but I’m not particularly optimistic on that count…

39% of the Senate and (rounding up) 39% of the House is a minority of congress no matter how you slice it. Can they really compel the SCOTUS to review a case with a minority?

ETA: This lends itself to the idea that the Republican party doesn’t actually care about Abortion, except to use it as a wedge issue to win elections. That’s why they waited until now, instead of when they held the SCOTUS, House and Senate majorities under Obama.
