I think this is another one of those things that would be incredible (as in hard to believe) if it happened in any other administration.
NSC Senior Director for European and Russian Affairs was escorted from White House grounds on Friday and placed on “Administrative Leave” pending a “security-related investigation.” So if this had been Obama’s administration the weekend talking heads would have spent their entire shows speculating about what happened. Now we’re getting information that the director may have been lured with sex into a situation where their laptop and phone could be stolen. Again, under Obama this would be the headline of the day - possible security breach.
But under Trump? Who cares if a recently appointed inept director at the NSC had a laptop stolen by a Russian operative after falling for the actual oldest spy trick in the book? If the Russians want to know state secrets don’t they just phone Trump and ask?
