They may FAFO, now that there are legal penalties for legislators who walk out. 10 unexcused absences and they cannot run for re-election.
I think they are smart enough to stop at nine, but dumb enough to forget that Dems can call an emergency session and force a tenth absence on most of the caucus…

Republican lawmakers have until May 12 before those with 10 unexcused absences will be banned from reelection under a ballot measure passed by 70% of Oregon voters last year.
Hopefully they’ll take it to one short of banning, and then a whole bunch will get picked off by unexpected absences.
