… where are this version of the Peanuts supposed to be from, anyway?
Early “Peanuts” seemed to be based on Schulz’s childhood in St. Paul, Minn., but then he moved to California and suddenly there’s Peppermint Patty wearing sandals year-round

It will be interesting seeing how they depict the hustle and bustle of “the Big City” if they stick with the longstanding Peanuts convention not having any adults visible in frame.

Was pleasantly surprised by the first CG feature, so kinda hopeful for this one. But not too hopeful - the premise doesn’t sound very “classic” Peanuts to me.

In What Have We Learned, Charlie Brown?, when they visit Normandy and Ypres, they depicted adults using rotoscaping to show silhouettes of soliders.
