I’m going with because unlike facial expressions it’s fully under conscious control and therefore easy to produce regardless of his emotional state (or lack of).
Huh. So do you think someone had to tell him to do that as a go-to move, or it’s totally reflexive?
I dunno, I don’t have a deep theory here, that’s just what came to mind.
The carrot is way too proportional.
Makes him look white.
Right? We all know he’s actually a carrotazoid who’s been passing as white.
"On Thursday, Alexandria Mayor Justin Wilson told the federal government to look elsewhere, telling HHS that the city “has no interest in hosting such a shelter or being part of any ‘exploratory assessment.’”
“Our city values every resident or visitor regardless of their immigration status,” Wilson’s letter said.
“Unfortunately, the Federal Government’s current treatment of immigrant families is in direct conflict with our community’s values. We want no part of this process.”

And this why, while I am not entirely certain on her positions, the thought of Harris debating Trump is warming my heart. There would be nothing he would be more embarrassed by than being humiliated by a black woman. She would cut him off at the knees and step on his neck. Not sure I see Biden doing that. Warren could on facts, but does she have the killer instinct? Harris does and, IMHO, would.
In the Google newsfeed on my Android phone, I’ve been noticing a fuckton of far-right sites cropping up. I can imagine that my reading topic habits will tend to pull those sites in, but why on earth would Google consider them news sources to start with? Not just biased, but hole-in-the-wall sites with over-the-edge frothing with more than a whiff of antisemitism, racism and other gangrene.
Setting aside theories that it’s somehow Google’s bias, I suspect that it’s more likely that the far-right are making an effort to game the system by registering all their sites with Google as news producers.
If those sites qualify, then it shouldn’t take much more than a blog to do likewise. Perhaps they have a FAQ for Nazi Dummies, but without that, here’s the Google submission page:

Some how-tos:

Hopefully there’s also a route to submit complaints about the worst of those sites.
If I can figure out a way to make my site qualify, I’ll try the submission process and let you know how it goes.
That is perfect!
