Not that I’m unhappy, I just note that “block enforcement of” is a long way from “strikes down” or whatever language you’d use for actually deeming the order unenforceable. This is a good thing, but also a small opening salvo that leads people who serve in the military and who are transgender in nearly as precarious a position as they were before this order was made.
Also, thanks for huffingtonpost for actually linking the order from their story. I get so frustrated when people report on orders, rulings, laws, etc., and can’t be bothered to provide the actual text.

If this additional bit is at all accurate, it looks like the administration is going to have a significantly higher hill to climb to justify enforcement:

I suppose cries for ‘some fucking justice’ from protesters would damn near split the skulls of these eight justices who are apparently so literal-brained that their collective intelligence is unable to parse, in their own natural language, a statement that is otherwise coherent to even Google AI, whose absolute IQ is 47.
