Completely not addressing:
Or:
The US/Saudi funded jihadi terrorists in Syria.
The US/Saudi war on Yemen.
The NATO destruction of Libya.
Etc.
Also, climate catastrophe, current and future, as a driver of migration.
I don’t see much difference between these three, and I’m old enough to remember when people on the left thought they were the best and brightest and decided to fix the world by invading Vietnam.
Completely not addressing:
- The drivers of the refugee problem, like Putin’s puppet Assad.
- The groups driving hatred towards the refugees, like far right money funded groups like Jihadwatch, Gatestone Institute, ACT for America, etc. Also Russian state-controlled media.
Or, as HRC said in the interview,
“The use of immigrants as a political device and as a symbol of government gone wrong, of attacks on one’s heritage, one’s identity, one’s national unity has been very much exploited by the current administration here,” she said.
“There are solutions to migration that do not require clamping down on the press, on your political opponents and trying to suborn the judiciary, or seeking financial and political help from Russia to support your political parties and movements.”

If only it was a lynching belt phenomenon.
my school district in texas became 45% white, 45% black, and 10% hispanic when it desegregated in 1971. until the population of the town doubled 25-30 years later, the demographic breakdown of the district stayed that way. my senior class had 43 white students, 45 black students, 8 hispanic students, and 2 asian students in 1979. my sister’s senor class was 48 white, 46 black, and 11 hispanic in 1984.
Just as comparative trivia, here’s one of my old high school photos from Oz:
I’m on the far right of the front row. It’s whiter than I remember.
Apropos of nothing in particular; it’s a serious drag to see, after less than a day, 20 new posts in this thread. Make it stop already!
Even though the Republican National Committee doesn’t have a soul, it’s somehow being accused of selling theirs. How exactly does that work? Allow me to explain.
There was no “maybe.”
