Studs was a true national treasure. I’m glad this is being made available at a time when we need to hear the voices of the 1930s and 1940s reminding us what happens when we let right-wing populists anywhere near the levers of power.

A lot of comrades do this world’s most awful person thing which, you know, doesn’t turn me on.
But if I did what you can call America’s best, Studs would be up there. God, what a mensch.

I think I got to Studs via BoingBoing - BoingBoing suggested World War Z, a talk about this took me to the description of the interviews as being in Stud’s style and then onto Work, Hard Times and A Good War. Thanks BoingBoing
