But with regard to your post above, the story definitely makes the husband/father out to be a well-respected local man of business, and suggests there’s something about the family dynamic that is toxic.
Hmmm, wonder who could be the destabilizing member of the family? The biggest strongest one, that the police had to check up on regularly? The violent one? Nope, must be the mom. The guys would have been pillars of the community without her.
