This was the whole basis behind the case that RBG made to begin getting equality at all. And the plaintiff had to be a man unable to get money that a woman would have been entitled to. Given that an amendment to guarantee equal pay for equal work is still languishing, I wish them luck in getting anywhere with this.

Reading this brings me back to a point that came up a lot since 2016. We really need more (or better) civics courses in schools. I donât know if itâs the media, political messaging, or misinformation from another source, but itâs disturbing to read âmost Americansâ have a fantasy about the founding of this country - to the point they believe things exist that were never there.
