Men’s teams get more (£2,250) for winning the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup than women’s teams get for winning the fourth round (£2,000). Men’s teams also get more for losing the second qualifying round (£2,250 again).

I find it interesting that she recognizes that in most households those duties are simply considered wife/mother things and that she’s willing to offer decent pay for it. I think the people mocking it have trouble recognizing that these things have value. She doesn’t simply want a nanny with “extra” requirements. She wants a household manager, which we’re taught is a position women should gratefully do for free.

Men, generally, don’t have to think that way. They don’t get the same level of harrassment and vitriol. It’s not a left or right problem. The entire spectrum of politics has toxicity towards women who speak up with their opinions. Sexism, racism, ableism etc. are all bipartisan. And so is the viciousness.
