Adobe walks into Gamergate, staggers around confusedly

like the people of Walmart?

Hmm, I’ll actually have to think about whether dudes who actually got banned count. It kind of waters down the ā€œone-use sockā€ aspect if they, y’know, totally might have come back. Maybe I should keep separate lists?

…Hey, is there a time limit for editing BBS posts? It’d be easier if I could keep the list in a separate thread and just link to it.

Ouch. Nissaan GM and Colgate go down…all your praddling here isn’t going to bring em back

Did you watch her videos. She says that verbatim

Hey, we got a new one! Add David_Prince to the list!

A link with a time offset into the video would do a better job as an argument.

With no reference that is a hollow personal opinion.

If you want to be taken seriously, back your personal opinion with facts.

Yeah, like that’s gonna happen!

(mainly because it’s actually impossible :P)

To be fair, gawker ARE a bunch of self-important deadshits who’ve got nothing better to write about than other people’s private affairs. What important stories have they ever broke? None. Not a one. That’s the measure of a good media organisation and gawker fail miserably.

I’m also tired of hearing about all this shit. Congratulations internet: you’ve now successfully drawn attention to attention-seekers.

I’d actually like to know this… I’d be surprised because the mods can easily see in the backend from which IP the comments were posted, and sock puppets used to be autobanned. Obviously a VPN could obfuscate 1 person into many, but you can often tell that too, depending on which VPN product is being used.

The accusation that pro-gamergate commenters are sock puppets regularly gets thrown around. It would be interesting to get @beschizza or one of the mods to investigate that and validate the accusation.

This one picked up exactly where the last one left off (as in ā€œNyah! Nyah! Look at the advertisers leaving!ā€), with the same tone, same manner of speech. I might be mistaken… but I’d be surprised.

I think Falcor made a comment to that effect, actually.

Yeah, I really hate Gawker too. Bunch of professional trollies. But #GamerGate has had me linking to them again, because compared to the gaters…

You are mistaken, as evidenced by my profile. Do most sock puppets have thousands of comments and thousands of liked comments?

The fact that you’ve gone on to accuse me of being them based on that fact that I have questions gives credibility to their claims that it’s easier to dismiss and discredit than deal with their charges.

I actually think gamergate proponents and the media the they’re battling against is the grandest waste of time. I play games. I loves games. I don’t care what some writer thinks about games because I’m able to make my own decisions on these matters and, generally speaking, mainstream media perspectives on ANYTHING are bland and middle of the road.

Heh, yep. It’s all just a load of shit. Gamers… Stop making gawker look like the good guys that they’re not!

Interesting… I think someone just flew by right at the denouement.

And they also picked up 1 new advertisers of that caliber.

What? You mean advertisers don’t remain static!?

This totally dashes my plans to take credit for the sun rising tomorrow.
