BOING BOING I LOVE YOU BUT YOUR SITE IS GARBAGE UNLESS I USE AN AD BLOCKER. I can’t even navigate a page because of a full screen ad takeover. I click on 20 things by accident and I can barely comprehend what is real content and what is injected ad chum, and when I finally find the real content it’s two sentences followed by another ad.
It’s really bumming me out.
Can you start a Patreon to get rid of all this shit so I can read all the content I appreciate you posting please?

Sorry for sidetracking the discussion, but I wonder if anybody else’s browser looks like this every time they visit boingboing?
I don’t think I’ve done anything to provoke these ads, and boingboing is the only site where I get them. Sometimes it’s a single ad, other times it’s every ad on the page.
The other ads I see here are usually pretty well targeted. I’m just curious if this is a “just me” sort of thing, or if everybody’s seeing the same thing.

I’ve been seeing this for the last while; it’s really annoying because (1) I’m not in the market for ladies garments of any sort, and (2) the screen is flooded with ads to the point that it makes it hard to read the articles.
At this point I’ve just given up on trying to view the main page, even with an adblocker. I just look at the bbs.
Yes, I’ve been getting the lingerie ads too. This is at work, when I turn off Firefox’s “enhanced tracking protection”. (I have to do that in order for tweets to display correctly.) Since I’m at work, I just try to scroll by them really fast.
Speaking of which:
Q) What do you get when you cross all these lingerie ads with “I Dream Of Jeannie”?
A) Bra Bra Eden.
Pretty sure this could have been pointed out without replicating all the T&A…
But I’m not even sure why this is a continued discussion…

I had a question about specific ads, which seem to follow a specific pattern. There may be other lingerie ads that I’m not seeing, and I didn’t want to be vague about it.
It sounds like you’d have preferred that I not replicate it? If so, I’m sympathetic to your position. I wish it weren’t replicated every time I visit boingboing .
That it’s “continued” is news to me. I only turned up to question/complain about it today!
