The instrument which is not a saxophone is called, in Hungarian, barack fa, literally apricot branch. It is an overtone fipple flute, a hollow tube with openings at the mouth and the end and a notch in the body of the tube to finish the fipple. You change notes by the placement of the breath and a finger at the bottom of the tube which you cover completely or partially.
Very simple and lovely instrument.

That’s some interesting acoustics that simply can’t be reproduced with 2 fixed stereo channels. Since the echoes and reverberation comes from all kinds of different directions, you’re missing out being unable to use your audio tracking capabilities built into your ears and skull and brain.
