It’s so sad watching him scramble up the crumbled clods of dirt. Trenches aren’t exactly the Hilton, but it doesn’t really get more DGAF than plopping soldiers in environments like this. I imagine the only guys who can do this sort of thing don’t have family or assets back home and feel that the risk is worthwhile. I imagine most of these poor bastards are just closing their eyes and pulling the trigger because they’ve got too much to lose. Utterly shameful.
