Apparently Amazon has been working on adding deepfakes of dead people to Alexa’s feature set.
And this is something they’ve undertaken voluntarily; and are voluntarily talking up in public, not some sort of leak.

I’m sure they’ve got someone working on slightly-animated portraits (hogwarts adjacent) with your dead relative “living” inside and ordering next-day junk for you. For extra fee(s) you can add various scenes/activities for your loved one to enjoy in their digital afterlife.
