I’ll believe it when trump is in jail. Until then the US system can still be drawn out, bought and paid for.
Fingers crossed!
Not sure if it’s worth it, but here is a livestream of the arraignment today (this is the WAPO one, which seemed the best choice, since PBS Newshour isn’t streaming it):
The pure bullshit framing of this article pisses me off!!!
More than 100 protesters and supporters gathered outside the courthouse before Trump’s 4 p.m. arraignment. They were joined by a large police presence patrolling the area.
They refer to protesters and supporters of Trump, but if you look at the pictures and/or just think for a millisecond about what is happening, everyone there who is “protesting” the Orange Asshole is just celebrating, they aren’t protesting anything. Meanwhile, his “supporters” are the ones actually fucking protesting.
On the live stream, they said that it was maybe a dozen “pro-trump” people, and counter protesters… So yeah… total bullshit that that many people showed up to support his ass.
Trump working hard to win over the hearts of potential jurors by shitting on D.C.:
“It was also very sad driving through Washington, D.C., and seeing the filth and the decay and all of the broken buildings and walls and the graffiti,” he said. “This is not the place that I left. It’s a very sad thing to see it when you look at what’s happening.”
Ohhhh it’s better Donniecon, something, something … YOU’RE NOT THERE ANYMORE!
WaPo seems to have a better take on just how many Trump supporters showed up than ABC.
They like Trump - but they’re not interested in joining him in Supermax.
I’m guessing all the indictments and sentences of the J6 rioters thus far has had a bit of a chilling effect on 45’s supporters.
Even if the sentences are far too lenient for my tastes, these fuckers didn’t expect to ever face any negative consequences at all.
Well, the live stream I posted was WAPO, so yeah, I’d expect so…
Gonna try guessing before I read. Um… Is “smallhands” a single word now?
My guess is that it’s got to be her use of “Mr.” instead of “President.”
