My impression is that this is the lead-in cock-up, before the bigger cock-up. If this is a hit, I wonder if this kind of technique would be useful for intelligence agencies to slander their uncooperative targets. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Nothing to worry about citizen, Hanlon’s razor.
and as Anonymous is mostly a label for a state of mind and not an organisation the ‘associated with’ is not a really great argument. everyone can be Anonymous (though there is some kind of core team with a more fixed structure. but they are not leaders of Anonymous.)

Indeed. My point is that Operation KKK and Amped Attacks are two fixed, named groups, and we shouldn’t treat them as synonyms for the nebulous Anonymous.
