What if we passed a law that said NDA’s cannot prevent people from disclosing information about criminal activities?

That generally is the law, but people can still be intimidated by the prospect of a costly lawsuit, public embarrassment, and potential threats/retaliation.

The nice thing about breaking this kind of NDA is that Weinstein can’t sue her for breach of contract without essentially admitting that her claims are credible.
