Well, maybe there is some truth to these allegations, now that so many women have come forward. But you know, let’s not rush to judgement or anything, cause that is worse than any crime committed against women (or men). /s

There sure is something fishy about all these women coming forward NOW, when they are likely to be believed, instead of coming forward years ago, when they would have been slut-shamed and blacklisted and likely sued for defamation.

Not that I’m complaining about it, but I do not understand why this rapist didn’t leave the country for a non-extradition destination when things started moving in this direction. Like sometime upthread said, he even had the blueprint with Polanski.

He has money.
If it ever goes to trial, he will either get off completely, or take a plea bargain for something like “simple assault” along with some sort of token fine, and maybe a few months of probation.
