Anti-vax TikToker is so far right she accidentally joins the left in hilarious video

“…if [republicans in] the government really cared about people [as they claim] they would make stuff like that for free.”

Watching her, I realized that saying “food for thought” with a smug expression is an indicator that what’s being said is idiotic, and tapping one’s head at the same time indicates it’s supremely idiotic.

I just realized I only ever see that gif being used to make fun of someone who thinks they’re “being smart” and this is why.

Fact! Socialism is really popular in America as long as you don’t call it Socialism.

Exactly. Whenever people talk about “the government” as an entity, in this way, it shows they have no clue. There are large (not huge enough, yet) portions of the government that do care about people and want to make things like healthcare free. If they (people like the poster) stopped looking at “government” as some monolith and saw the gears and cogs, they’d see that. :woman_shrugging:t2:

This reminds me of that HBomberguy video about the golden one (Swedish neo-nazi bodybuilder, that’s what he calls himself). Long misogynist rant but what he was really bothered by was globalist capitalism (that is, his sponsors dropped him)?

On the other side of the fence, a lot of people rage against GMOs because of Monsanto’s business practices. I keep pointing out that what they’re actually opposed to is the corporate misuse of IP law, and I’m right there with them.

It IS amusing to see how free healthcare is SO far outside her personal Overton window that she uses it as a reducto ad absurduim rhetorical device. That’s what comes of living in a Fox media bubble.

See Flat Earthers, the world IS round…

Recently saw a young guy checking into a clinic for his vaccine shot. When he told the receptionist he didn’t have insurance, she just said, “OK. You can have a seat,” and he got the vaccine the same as everyone else.

Just the taste of universal healthcare in the US…what a world we could have.

Yep, I had a neighbor say the same thing, herd immunity, and when I explained that is what the government is trying to do with the vaccine. They said it can be achieved if without a vaccine if people just exposed themselves. I then explained that Trump said if he did nothing, and let the disease run it course it could kill about 2 million and why he pushed for the vaccine. I just got a blank stare.

Yep, remind them that the vaccine is a Trump thing you get nothing because I don’t know if their brains can handle their savor being the person behind the vaccine push.
