we don’t know how long getting the virus itself provides immunity (possibly as little as six months), which raises questions about how long the vaccine protects, there’s questions about whether people might be able to get - and shed - the virus even with the vaccine, etc.

That’s what makes me glad researchers are not all taking the same approach to tackling the problem:
