Christ! What a DOJ.

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Odd, how it says ‘no person’ instead of ‘people within the boarders of the US’

Is this how we win hearts and minds, or is this how we recruit for the enemy?

I guess a lot more FBI operatives are going to find themselves black-bagged by families unable to get their grievances heard.

I don’t mind that so much, but also American tourists and aid workers and whoever.

  1. FBI is allowed to detain someone for questioning
  2. FBI is allowed to bring you outside the country
  3. FBI is allowed to secretly hold you prisoner and torture you without any charges being brought against you, at least threaten you with murder, perhaps commit murder (who will know?) IF you are not in the country at the time

What could possibly go wrong?
