I love pointing out that Sarah Palin’s “Exploratory Tour” was basically a long grift. You ask the typical conservative if she ever ran for president and they’d say yes, but she never officially threw her hat in the ring. She spent a year driving around in a bus taking donations, then bought a house in Arizona.

For the “family values” party grift is the thing they value most.
