Much easier to dispose of the corpses without raising questions when there isn’t any legal record of the children being there in the first place.

Also given the current whistleblower reports of undocumented migrant children being found working in factories, meat packing plants, etc. it makes it harder for the Feds to track down the campaign donors to Gov. Nepo Baby and her cronies.
