Lasermike nails it. This is a great American story. No doubt the little guy had hard times and fears as all kids do but he had the gift of knowing he lived in a paradise and made the most of it. I wish I’d had him as a friend when I was a kid. We could have had great times in that cathedral of knowledge and ideas.
