Already in trouble for the Jan 6th stuff, he had the brilliant idea to crash the wedding of his ex-wife
who happened to be Britney Spears.

Getting back on topic. So the Proud Boys who don’t like mexicans had tacos with this documentarian and their leader is latino? Wtf.

Well everyone loves tacos. But tarrio is one of many POC attracted to the idea of whiteness and the power therein. The proud boys accept him, at least in part, because it provided them with cover.
One take on it

I was like, “George Costanza was married to Britney Spears?”

As people were threatening to resign from Trump Administration, Jared Kudhner told the January 6 committee that he figured they were just whining? So much for his rehabilitation. I could almost picture him saying, “Let them eat cake.”

He’s a majorly privileged asshole.

Seems like more than a few of Trump’s enablers are “rehabilitating” themselves. It’s like an epidemic. How unusual.

I just got a chance to sit down and start watching today’s January 6 hearings. Making Liz Cheney the face of the committee was a smart move, because she’s not holding back against her fellow Republicans. I will almost certainly never agree with her on many important matters of policy but she has earned a measure of my respect.

Rasputin? Rasputin?! What kind of history coleslaw does he have in his brain that he thinks that’s relevant?

To properly be a Rasputin, he’d have to be poisoned, poisoned, shot, shot, shot, possibly drowned. I doubt he’d survive a severe breading.

And hit over the head with a blunt instrument. Repeatedly.
He is getting some exposure already, though.

Well, honestly, if you are worried about “ratting someone out,” they must be pretty damned dirty, yes? It is only logical. Thank you for your confession.

I mean, interrogation is usually what happens in an investigation or an inquiry, Mr. Watkins. What were you expecting? :man_shrugging:

The chief federal trial court judge in Washington rejected arguments Friday that televised hearings by the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack will bias potential jurors against defendants in upcoming criminal trials, saying that if anything lawmakers appear to be placing responsibility for the violence on former president Donald Trump and his close advisers, rather than riot participants.

Wasn’t sure where else to drop this – The Gallery of Trump-inspiring assholes? – but the headline itself connects it to current events.

Surreal, corny, filled w much WTAFness.
Also definitely see a parallel here in the U.S. (i.e. manufacturing a “good old days, heroic patriots” narrative supporting war / civil war in the case of here in the U.S.).
