Received this travel alert this morning at work; first I’ve heard about it. I wonder if there’s some connection:

ON 21 FEB 18, AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE DETONATED ON A TOURIST FERRY IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN RESULTING IN INJURIES, INCLUDING TO U.S. CITIZENS.
