One of the better bits of that film but unless you are a major fan Trafic is skippable. See his previous movies instead.

Wow, brilliant stuff!
I saw and loved the complete Tati opus on the big screen (in a film society run) in the 70s, but because my memory was a bit dim I couldn’t understand why, when distributors like Criterion began releasing his other movies on DVD, they held back on Trafic. I bought it the day it finally became available, but have only watched it a couple of times since. It has its great moments, but is not in the same class as (say) Playtime, Holiday, and Mon Oncle.
