That’s a mighty wasted looking Kenny Rogers introducing the band.
I remember that show, I think it lasted 2 seasons and was called Rolling on the River. It had some great bands performing without lip synching their stuff, including some really cool performances of Kenny’s own First Edition.
My high school pals and I would gather each week to check it out.
That’s such a great song!! I especially loved it when it appeared at the end of Breaking Bad!
I tried to get my band to work on No Matter What last night but nobody can hit those high vocals. Those guys were awesome.
