I’m now wary of these nostalgic vinyl re-releases. I bought two, the Buffy musical and the Fury Road soundtrack on vinyl. The quality of both is absolutely terrible.
Most modern vinyl is really really good (much better than it was when mass produced back when it was the mainstream format). Boutique vinyl pressers in general have gotten very good. However a lot of this gimmicky stuff turns out to be awful. The Buffy one in particular is relegated to showpiece, and I’m glad I also have the CD ripped to listen to.
