What’s the point of a 60 day warranty on socks? They dam well better last 60 days! They should at least last 60 washes.
I was just about to bring up Jansport, because I had a bag that wore out after several years with a seam coming apart, and they replaced it for free no questions asked. And the replacement eventually wore out so I got another free replacement.
This was in the late 1980s-90s, so maybe they’ve changed since then. Sad to hear.
Actually, if you go by the photo of the product, it says “Lifetime guarantee medium weight”, which could be construed to imply that the only thing they’re guaranteeing is that the socks will remain medium weight.
That’s a stretch.
FWIW, I travel a fair amount and found that when you can find a Travelpro case on sale, they are really worth it. They seem to hold up to abuse well. Had mine for a few years and no complaints.
I also have an “older” American Tourister carryon I bought probably close to twenty years ago made with ripstop nylon that has held up well - with one repair to the handle - but I don’t think they make them like they used to. I bought another one a decade later in the same supposed line and it got beat up really quick.
