…
I’m doing nothing, right now!
But, but…oh, OK. I won’t celebrate. I’ll just ignore that little cake by my name.
HEY! Knock it off, over there…
So, it’s like playing The Game?
Awwww!
Don’t eat too much cake, it’ll give you a stomach’acake.
Everyday is National Nothing Day if your brave enough!
“I am the father, the father of nothing!”
It’s easier to get excited about National Popcorn Day, on Sunday Jan 19. There’s still time to promote some corn poppers. I was actually given a device for popping in a microwave, it actually works, so I gave my electric popper to a day shelter for the homeless last month, they were looking for one.
Even more exciting is Rare Disease Day on Feb 28th (I read somewhere that it’s “the last day of February” so maybe it celebrates leap years) . A chance to flaunt your rare disease. Having joined the club last year, I’m looking forward to it, never having heard of it until a few weeks ago. We may have rare diseases, but if you add up all the rare diseases I bet the number of people with any rare disease adds up, so maybe we form a collectively large mass.
“People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.” – Winnie the Pooh
This reminds of me that Bill Hicks bit about a society for misanthropes.
“People who hate people, come together”
“No!”
My anthem for today
I’m not here…
I wasn’t doing anything, anyway.
Is nothing sacred?
