Saying that body-shaming is not positive or productive is one thing, but saying that everyone should be “comfortable” no matter how preventably- or mitigatably-unhealthy their bodies are is foolish, even insulting. Would you suggest that someone with cancer be comfortable with their tumors? Would you get a bulimic loved one a fancy bucket to puke stylishly into? Anorexia (and obesity) aren’t body types or lifestyle choices, they’re diseases. Promoting them, whether via media relentlessly depicting unrealistic body imagery or via clowns relentlessly pushing garbage food everywhere, is grossly irresponsible.
All that said, these legs are skinny but they don’t look, like, atrophied. You’d think a tights advertiser would want a bigger canvas though.
