It’s a more sophisticated version of “Jake the Peg” by Rolf Harris.

I won a Halloween contest with a costume based on this in the 80s with a “Chernobyl Cleanup Crew” jacket on.

Could tell within 3 seconds which one was fake and it made the rest of it uncomfortable to watch. Even the part where he took off his real leg was blatantly obvious how it was done. Probably would have looked better from the audience’s point of view.
