I can’t believe this needs saying, but there’s a LOT more to being effectively pro-labor than the lip service paid by some neoliberal Democrats to the idea of some day raising the minimum wage.

The subthread was specifically about minimum wage. As for labor, the Democrtic Party has been working with unions since 1936, when the two joined forces to elect FDR. The historical platform has never been progressive enough to satisfy some on the left, and it has had some lapses in its commitment to workers, but generally the party is and has been the party of the working classes.
