I recently moved apartments, and took that as an opportunity to offload my (getting to be overwhelming) Lego collection to a family with some kids who will appreciate the sets more than I.
This, though, is my favorite Lego set, and this was a great opportunity to order a replacement set that I’ll keep in my office. So many clever construction techniques went into this design, and the end result is huge and impressive.
Still loving that this kit has 1969 pieces.
i was disappointed to see that on the link to amazon that it is say “1900 pieces”.
they don’t get it.
Question for parents (obviously this is subjective, but I’m interested in spirited discussion) – The Amazon description states “boys and girls 14 years or older”. Is the low end of that range realistic, or could it be considerably lower?
9 year old nephew built it
Maybe the steampunk version?
