So is the back of each card unique as well? Because I know a lot of sharps wouldn’t have any trouble memorizing the distressed patterns.
Are the backs identically distressed or are these a shark’s dream?
In the guitar community we’d call these “relics.” They’d seem to be universally despised, yet continue to sell pretty well.
Even if they’re not unique, the distressed patterns make it easier to add one or two more marks with the same “feel” that no one else will notice.
I’ve got a couple of repo’s of antique decks. The problem is that the indexes are really to small for normal play.
Perfect for an authentic hand of Caravan after a hard day on the long 15.
Regardless, this simply makes it easier to use or make marked cards. Are these distressed, or just printed to look distressed? Meh, either way.
