In case anyone was not sure what the embedded video was about (not the one you had to click through to see) I’m pretty sure that was from 2020’s lockdown when we all stood outside in our gardens at 8pm to clap essential workers. Billy decided to add to that for his neighbours, most appropriately, after the clapping ended.

I understand that he has also been performing a version of Sexuality at live shows tweaked to add a pro-trans message. A truly fine human!

I believe he changed the line “just because your gay / I won’t turn you away” to “just because you’re they / I won’t turn you away”…
