Why was this movie score overlooked at the Oscars?
I’m more interested in knowing how a film that was all about acting, and featured great performances across the board, failed to win any acting awards but did win for lots of other stuff.
Still, at least it beat the gimmicky Boyhood, remarkable for nothing beyond how long it took to film.
Boyhood was a one trick pony, but unusual trick.Though I thought Patricia Arquette was the best thing in it.
Birdman was refreshingly original in its own way.
