Highest on my bucket list is to travel there after they have one of those rains on a crystal clear night of no moon. I’ve heard it’s like standing in the middle of space, a complete 360 of stars everywhere you look…can you imagine!?!

How do you turn that place into a telescope?
Musician FKJ (“French Kiwi Juice”) performed a 2-hour set on Salar de Uyuni in 2019. The whole set can be watched on Youtube (with no intrusive pop-up ads!), and music reviewer Simon Rentner named the video as one of the best jazz “albums” of the year for NPR.
Transcendent moments abound, but I particularly like the funky stuff at 7:30 and 38:20.
