Just the kind of Bizarro World appointee we came to expect from Il Douche.

This should please a lot of people. A dyed-in-the-wool Trump yes-man, who’s been just as useless as the orange one in the job, by de-regulating just about everything and favouring internet companies.

Aw, I will miss the cavalcade of photos that kept making Pai look dumber with each shot.

Out of the whole cabal that Trump has appointed, the only one that I dislike more than Pai is DeVos.

Good riddance, don’t let the door hit you, etc, etc…

So bye-bye, Mr Ajit Pai. You drove our policy into the levee and we still wonder why

i forgot - who originally appointed mr. pai to the fcc?

FCC General Counsel’s office under Prince Bush, nominated to be an FCC Commissioner by Obama (at the recommendation of Sen. Yertle – Third-Way Dems never learn), designated as FCC Chairman by Biff (no doubt so impressed by all the damage he did to the agency up to that point that he broke with his usual practise and promoted an Obama appointee).

So, clearly Obama’s fault, like every other disaster over the past four years. /s [unless you consider the past four years a series of successes for U.S. regulatory agencies]

Forgot. Uh, huh.

per wiki: He was nominated to be a commissioner in 2011 by President Barack Obama, who followed tradition in preserving balance on the commission by accepting the recommendation of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

In January 2017, newly inaugurated president Donald Trump designated Pai as FCC Chairman.

So how many of the shitty things he did are just going to be quietly left in place, because the people they’re profitable for donate to Democrats too?
