I find I’m kind of torn about it.
On the one hand, I’m not in favor of book banning, so this sucks that this is our current outlet.
On the other hand, I’m gleeful to see the shitty laws turned against the ignorant fascists who supported them, so they at least see what they’re doing. Last week I was looking for the forms to do this same thing but couldn’t find them, so, glad to see others are doing it.
I feel like we’re on a clock, though, you know? Right now, most of them are still pretending they’re working towards something else, “protecting the children.” I’m feeling like within 18 months, the facade is going to fully drop. They aren’t even going to feel like they have to pretend anymore. It’s fucking horrifying.
For her. She needed someone with her 24/7. Rough month/year.
Home now thank god.
I just typed that as that is something I actually say despite being an atheist since I was a child. It’s a habit Samuel Beckett kept too so I don’t feel bad about it!

It made me want to do something though which I need to act on. The people in the Children’s Heart Centre in Crumlin hospital are absolutely amazing. The nurses and housekeeping staff in particular.
That verse in Revelation about Death riding a pale horse, and Hell following with him, sounds a lot less ominous when you realise that “Hell” is simply the name of his dog. Is Hell a good boy? Is he?
