“PLEASE let us take the gloves off trump!” he texted another agent.
Is this one of those cultures we can kill with a strong enough antibiotic?
I guess establishing that racist fantasies of violence are par for the course for you and your coworkers is a…kind of defense?
Roger That!
I spent 5 hours detained at a border crossing and heard ice agents trade all their best I got the kids to squeal on mommy and daddy stories and chuckle wth each other.
“PLEASE let us take the gloves off trump!”
Only if they slap the cuffs on.
projection at it’s finest/worst.
Was anyone wondering who is next on the POTUS Pardon List?
Said the clansman later in his own defense, this sort of racist lynching is simply “part of the town’s culture.”
Yep, totally a legitimate defense.
I suspect that, if afflicted by self-awareness, a border patrol agent might feel weird about his attorney arguing that he’s a member of a degenerate, inherently violent, culture that ought to be kept outside decent society by force if necessary.
I’m guessing that he’s spared that particular affliction.
Why is anybody surprised at this? To be employed in a job like that requires a level of sociopathy well beyond that of the normal population. Why else would you want to hold a job that has, as its primary role, the requirement to inflict misery on people already suffering.
We may have 30 or 40 million active or retired military/police in the US that believe in dehumanization, or at the very least tolerate it on a professional level.
Thanks, Drumpf!
"Mindless murdering savages. " Yup, the would describe this asshole pretty well. Projection is a hell of a thing, man.
Soo… classic projection?
disappointed ≠ surprised
There’s a mindless savage in this story, and it isn’t any migrant. The pig is not yet a murderer only because he’s a crappy driver apparently.
I wouldn’t be so sure he’s not. Maybe he’s already gotten away with it in other cases.
"… this sort of racist hate is simply “part of the agency’s culture.””
