As I said before, the rest of Europe doesn’t really give a shit at this stage. I mean the technocrats are working hard for it but politically it’s not exactly a votewinner.

Really? A Boris name tag? Was that necessary for people to get it?

Hard to put a like to any of that bullshit but yeah.

Oh, and speaking of 100% hypocritical guaranteed brexit bullshitters…

Access to markets being possibly the no.1 driver of manufacturing location? Whodathunk?

To be fair, the fishing bullshit be damned, Brexit was never about actual real industries. Rather it’s s continuation of the Tory policy of sidelining actual real businesses making things. There’s unions there. I guess that some of those supporting it thought there would be a return to the state supported industry of the post war period. To which the answer is: but Tories. Seriously.

Given our location, what we need is a paddle!

I still not quite sure how seriously I am supposed to take Ineos. I get that people are angry that Land Rover “ruined” the Defender and now they want their own, with blackjack and hookers, but is theere anything more to it?

The Welsh government certainly seemed to be taking them seriously, as late as September of last year this plant was still all set to open with their support and considerable public investment. With the loss of Bridgend Ford and now this not happening - because of brexit bullshitters somehow not realising that being a member of the common market means access to foreign markets and foreign workers - an already struggling area is going to be harder hit.

IIRC, the banking and finance sector hates Brexit, too. I think it’s mostly about the Republicanization of the Tories, where the rural know-nothings, racist loons, and corrupt greedmongers and looters have taken over the party and thrown the actual business people aside.
