Oy, what is it with BoingBoing these days? Is the economic situation critical? It’s becoming the reincarnation of Sharper Image. (For you young’uns who don’t remember Sharper Image, it was a mail-order operation with a few stores that specialized in often neat gadgets, sometimes at a good price.)

Or you could just get the vastly more powerful and capable Blender, for free, and do all of this and more:

Blender has a steep learning curve. Luckily there are lots of tutorials on YouTube.

The recent (2.80 and newer) interface changes made it way more intuitive. There’s still lot’s to learn but in my opinion it’s worth it.
