Budweiser renames its beer "America"

InBev turned into AB InBev in 2008. It is also Belgian-Brazillan if you believe that. Their CEO is actually Brazilian. They are also merging with SABMiller so soon it’ll probably be SABAB InBev.

Honestly, I think all those beverage conglomerates might be a little evil.

hmmm what can we do to make the woes of alcohol worse…?

I know!

Install patriotic fervor!

It’s even better than that because it makes it better and worse! Huzzah!

I’m actually hoping I can get a some of these cans here. I like the design and I’m actually not ashamed of being American.

Anyway it’s better than this:

And just a short distance away over the border, we have this:

I would pledge allegiance to Boaty McBoatface and all for which it stands.

Now I miss Meantime beers.
One NZ brewery likes Yakima hops (when they’re not putting Citra in everything):

I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Having grown up in St. Louis well yeah I have had some. Honestly Michelob was my choice for anything from that brewery. The last occasion I actually had a Bud was at a party where the hosts dad worked there and they get a case to take home fresh off the line. That was not bad, not something I would go out and buy but fair enough for what it was.

Holy crap, 76 comments and you all fell for this? I know parody, and this is parody.

Now, if you don’t mind, I will be covering my ears and shouting at the top of my lungs in the corner.

If it’s satire, then it’s fooling people who should be a lot better at detecting it than us:

America…is that what Trump calls that tiny little thing?

Indeed. Most of them much better than the Eurosnob favorites. I spent much of my drinking time over there arguing as much. Where I lived in Stockholm, Sam Adams was the only US brew deemed worthy enough. It almost always earned grudging recognition when I could force it on people. That said, a few of the more trendy Systembolaget (government sanctioned booze outlets) sometimes carried Bud or Miller…way in the back of the stores in small amounts that made it clear they were there as party jokes.
