That’s the Heigold House built by a stone cutter of the same name. It sits in a small park near the Ohio River just east of downtown Louisville. I used to drive by there every day to and from work.
ETA this link, it has a very interesting story.

Along vaguely related lines, there’s a house in my neighborhood that was torn down completely, with the exception of the front porch and chimney. I guess it was some sort of historic preservation hack, prior to a “remodel” which amounted to the construction of a completely new house attached to the front porch roof.
