Burglars bust through toy store wall to steal Lego sets

I wondered if the boxes had RFID tags or other trackable stuff. But yeah; if you look online on eBay, Etsy, or Mercari, there are people selling bags of this stuff that is carefully curated. And on Amazon there are knock-off sets that are almost as expensive as the original stuff. It doesn’t make me crave kits any less!

Like cars, lego pieces are worth more than kit itself when sold separately (unless it’s a discontinued set)

I guess the money to be gained in keeping the set complete is not worth the tradeoff in the set’s traceability.
