Guy should def. serve time for this. Even China is (slowly) turning around their attitudes towards this, and they are responsible for the trend.

In court Kwong simply said, “No contest, your honor.”

“A no contest plea is the same as a guilty plea in a criminal proceeding, and this being a criminal proceeding, I’m going to make a fact-finding that you’re guilty,” San Francisco Superior Court Judge Lillian Sing.

Sounds like he could have used some legal advice, there.

Shark fin is routinely shipped through the US from outside the country to elsewhere outside the country. Because it is “in transit” it is not considered “in” the US and therefore not breaking US law.
